This research aims to design lifting tools to connect Dozer Type D8R/T tracks and determine the lifting capacity and force required to connect Dozer Type D8R/T tracks. Based on the results of the research, the lifting tools for connecting Dozer Type D8R/T tracks will provide time efficiency in connection, minimize wasted time, and speed up the track installation process. By using lifting tools, you can ensure that the track on the Dozer Type D8R/T will be installed better and more safely. This research was carried out at PT. Vale Indonesia, Tbk. by analyzing the track installation on the Dozer D8T/R using the Track tool. From the results of the calculation of the force that occurs in the lifting of the Track Dozer D8T/R track lifting tools is at the time of installation of the Track Dozer D8T/R track lifting tools with a lifting capacity of 5,418 kg/mm2 while the force acting on the installation of the Track Dozer D8T/R track lifting tools at the time of lifting is 27,362,678 N, the lifting force (lifting force) at the time of lifting the load using a crane. This is very important to ensure balance and safety when lifting 54,725,336 N, while the friction force that occurs during lifting is 15,596,439 N with a safety factor of 1,754.
